Farleigh was formed in early 2006 almost by accident…
We were asked to come and put a new studio through its paces, by spending
a couple of days recording, playing loads of different styles. Having
spent most of the time playing jazz, soul and funk, Harry suddenly suggested
playing through a couple of songs he had written. We gave it a shot, and loved it straight off. After a few discussions over tea and cake, we thought we’d give it a go, and thus, Farleigh was formed. |

Unlike a lot of bands, we started off as a studio band. We spent our first year in the studio, recording and experimenting to find a sound that suited us best. This studio work helped to give us a solid framework which has proven hugely valuable, which we hope shows in our live performances!
